Kiran's Ray of Hope Pancreatic Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization (501 (c)3) existing to raise awareness of Pancreatic Diseases and to fight for a cure. According to the American Cancer Society, 45,220 people will be diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and 38,460 people will die from it in 2013 alone. They also report diagnosis has been on the rise over the past 10 years. According to the Mayo Clinic Chronic Pancreatitis can also lead to Pancreatic Cancer. We believe by opening our hearts and working together we can one day put an end to the suffering and heartbreak Pancreatic Diseases cause. Where there is pain and loss, there is always a need to fight, if we save even one life, it is worth it; no victory is too small when you're helping others live longer, healthier lives.
